Esport MatrixTen ranks on one ladder
Winning lines award experience and experience moves you up the ladder. Rank one is Unranked and rank ten is Matrix Elite. Ranks are cosmetic by design — nothing is gated behind them, because gating things behind progress is how free games start asking for money.

Get seeded at 2500
Every competitor starts on the same stack. It is a scoreboard number, not a balance — it cannot be bought, traded or withdrawn under any circumstances.
Grind the ladder
Ten coins enters a round, three trophies opens eight free rounds, and experience carries across both titles. Your rank never decays between sessions.
How experience is earned
Experience is awarded on winning lines only, at one point per fun coin returned. Four hundred and fifty points moves you up a tier, and the track tops out at tier ten. Losing spins cost coins but never cost experience, so the tier only ever moves in one direction.
Both games feed the same track, so rounds on either title count toward the same tier. Resetting your coins also resets experience — it is a clean start, not a penalty.

About progress
Is there an entry fee for the ladder?
No. Esport Matrix has no payment system of any kind. There is no entry fee, no season pass and no cosmetic store — the ladder is free to enter and always will be.
Does my rank ever decay?
No. Ranks only move upward as experience accumulates. Leave for six months and you come back at exactly the rank you left at.
Do the two titles share a rank?
Yes. Experience earned in Outlaw Arena and Matrix 777 feeds the same ladder, so rounds in either title move the same rank.
